Service Desk Engineer

On behalf of our client Douglas, rindus is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join our office in Malaga (PTA). Douglas is Europe’s leading retail company for beauty and health products headquartered in Germany. You will work in an international, distributed team, building a scalable, high performance e-commerce platform.

 

YOUR ROLE

  • Working in an agile IT environment and providing technical support for our internal departments
  • Taking responsibility for classifying and resolving problems and tasks as well as forwarding issues to the 2nd level support where needed
  • Incident management and communication in cases of system or service malfunction
  • Documentation of best practices and FAQs

 

YOU BRING IN

  • Working experience in an IT environment
  • Experience with JIRA or a similar ticket system
  • Relevant experience in ITIL and in an agile environment
  • Knowledge in Java, JavaScript, HTML and relational databases as well as experience writing SQL queries
  • Basic knowledge of working with Linux Systems
  • Business level English

 

EXTRA CREDIT

  • Working experience of an e-commerce platform (ideally Hybris)
  • Experience with PIM, CMS or any other similar data management system
  • Working experience and understanding of e-commerce industry
