Software Test Engineer

As a Software Test Engineer, you will have the following opportunities:

  • Work closely with developers and Product Managers to ensure the team delivers high quality solutions to challenges facing our customers worldwide
  • Create and manage automated test cases using Specflow driving Selenium Webdriver and Nunit
  • Develop manual tests and test strategies
  • Work closely with leaders in the ecommerce industry, including Amazon, Google, eBay, Facebook, and more
  • Participate in a fast-paced, 5-8 person agile development team building software as a service (SaaS) applications
  • Test and deliver software that scales across hundreds of servers and thousands of customers with very high throughput
  • Work with a team of peers who are smart, professional, and share a passion for creating great software

 

Required Qualifications

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3 or more years of software testing experience
  • Proficiency in C#, Java, or a similar programming language
  • Experience designing automated and manual tests
  • Experience testing web applications, APIs, and using continuous integration
  • Understanding of relevant software development tools including version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to advocate quality initiatives and best practices including test automation, continuous integration, and agile processes
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with distributed development teams spanning multiple offices and timezones
  • Familiarity with agile software development practices such as Kanban and Scrum
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with databases
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with e-commerce, retail, online marketplaces, or digital marketing
